We focus on furnished stays of 30 days or more and hosts eligible for shorter stays. NYC generally prohibits entire-apartment rentals under 30 days; eligible short-term hosts must remain present, host no more than two paying guests, and hold the required registration. Owners remain responsible for confirming current city, building, and lease requirements. Co-hosting does not make an ineligible rental legal.
